Description pjotr.malienki 2007-04-21 02:38:50 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    Debian stable Packages
OS:                Linux

When composing a new message with wordwrap enabled, the application suddenly slows down after four lines of wordwrapped text. This only happens when the composer window is "large" or maximized. When it is kept at a small size, no slowdown occurs.

How to reproduce:
 * open composer window
 * maximize composer window
 * enable wordwrap
 * write text that will be wrapped over four lines
 * when the next wordwrap occurs, the application should slow down

This behavior has been tested on two different computers with up-to-date hardware. Kmail 1.9.5 (KDE 3.5.5) installed from repository on a Debian system.
