There is a need for a *visible* way to change the disk-size for burning, either a button, menu entry or drop-down. Any visible sign is better than the current situation of having to ask others and find it in a totally unexpected place :-) Since now people may well need to change frequently between CD, DVD and dual-layer DVD that's becoming more urgent.

What is your proposition then?
ATM K3b automatically adjust the project size to the inserted medium. If you
don't like that you have the context menu (how is the project size bar a
totally unexpected place?????).

the size bar is not displayed as being clickable, it just looks as if it's informational area. having a pull down button or placing it in a 4th burning tab would be more obvious (at least to me)
