Version:           1.6.6 (using KDE 3.5.6, Kubuntu (feisty) 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu14)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.20-15-generic

Just open konsole and start typing. Running Fiesty Faun, Ubuntu prior to final release. Started on april 10

Please file this report with the Ubuntu developers first, it seems very likely that it is a distribution-specific problem, given that it only appeared very recently in a version of Konsole which has been available for some time.
