It looks more like problem with your system because I've never seen this crash reports, do you experience crashes with other programs too?

sometimes, but not often. but it could be the reason.

i have remembered why. i wanted to move the contact into a group, but i didnt have the contact in my CL yet.

I have reinstalled my system a few times, and this has never repeated. mybe it was something malfunctioning in my system and not in kopete itself. i have no way of reproducing it.

but if u wish to try to reproduce, u have to receive a message from a unlisted contact - some spam senders via ICQ etc. - or someone new, who have written u and u dont have him in CL yet. - he appears in the kopete window as "Nezarazene kontakty" - in czech = "not added contacs" or "unlisted contacs"... - than try to move the person into General or so. these were those steps which i did.

if u dont understand, i mzbe can describe better :-)

We don't have manpower to fix KDE 3 bugs so I'm closing this bug as I can't reproduce it.
