I've had myself on my AIM contact list for years. It works fine on the official AIM client, GAIM, Trillian, and the MacOS AIM thing. Kopete, however, reports that it is not allowed. That is incorrect, it is allowed, and Kopete should not prohibit it.

Can you try the new KDE4 version? Does it allow to add yourself on the list?
