I am attempting to print a PDF document from a website (http://www.oracle.com/pls/xe102/homepage - Administering the data base - 2 day DBA - PDF) to an HP OfficeJet 4110 printer using KGhostView. When the pages print about 1/4 inch is cut off at the bottom of the page. Adjusting the top and bottom margins appears to have no affect and I can find no option to "print to fit page". I printed a test page using CUPS and got the entire page. I am using KGhostView 0.20 with KDE 3.3.2 with Debian Linux on a hp pavilion a450n, 3GHz machine. None of the other bug reports seemed to address this issue. If there is some simple setting to address this issue, please let me know. Otherwise, this appears to be a problem with KGhostView it's self.

Tom,

your CUPS may not find enough RAM to rasterize the complete page. Try to...

  (a) ...either decrease the resolution value (if your driver supports such
      a setting,
  (b) ...or increase the "RIPCache" setting in your /etc/cups/cupsd.conf file
      (I bet it is still at the default of "8m" -- rather go for "64m" and see
      if that helps).

Having said that, your KDE 3.3.2 is rather old already. *If* kghostview is at fault here, you should upgrade and report again if the problem is still present in KDE 3.5.6.
