Version: 0.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.6, Debian Package 4:3.5.6.r1.dfsg.1-2 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18

When you want to adjust the time and date of a photo using the "adjust time and date" menu, one has to choose to add or substract a number of months, days, hours, etc. Wouldn't it be more intuitive to only have "add" and work with negative times?

This approach has also the advantage that you can combine addition and substraction. So instead of adding, for example, 3 months and 30 days, it would be possible to add 4 months minus 1 day.

Cheers,

Arnout

Hi Gilles

I dont think we need to do this. The current implementation is intuitive enough. What do you suggest?

Just realized I never replied to your message 4 months ago. Anyway, I am using Digikam 2.6 beta 3 right now from Debian unstable and it does not accept adding negative time yet.

Agree, it can be closed as Work For Me...
