Celeste, It sound like a broken installation. This menu is fill by standard option provided by digiKam core and kipi-plugin options. At least, the core options must be available. Are you installed 0.9.1 over and old 0.8.x ? If yes, uninstall old release before. Are you used the standard packages or are you compiled yourself digiKam ? Gilles Caulier DigiKam was upgraded from 0.8.x to 0.9.1 via apt in Kubuntu. This is likely to happen to a lot of people upgrading from Dapper to Feisty (which is to be released in April). Well, this is an Kubuntu package problem... Achim, Luka, what do you think about ? Gilles Celeste, Do you have digikamimageplugins installed? Regards, Luka Luka, No, I do not have digikamimageplugins installed. ok, you talking about Image Editor, not Album Gui. Install DigikamImagePlugins package and all will be fine Gilles Is it possible to make DigikamImagePlugins a required package for Digikam installation in Kubuntu so other users don't have this same problem? Celeste, digikamimageplugins is not shipped by default, as there was not enough space on CD. This will stay the same for feisty. 0.9.2 has merged plugins into main application, so feisty+1 should be fine. OK, as long as it is fixed in the future. Cheers. Since digiKam 5.2.0, the image editor plugin interface was removed in favor of tools directly embeded in digiKam core. This problem will not reproducible. Gilles Caulier |
