The Window menu item was removed in revision 638407. This effectively removes the ability to quickly rename and close windows. What does/did the window menu do? Close a window. Rename a window. Switch mdi mode. Tile/cascade windows. Currently Close and Rename are availible from the tab.... and there is not new Window option availible except from the new data objects dialongs. Should we have a menu for these items? Is anyone aware of any *users* using anything other than tabs for MDI mode? If not, I am happy to only support tabs. I often find myself going to a non-existent Window menu to close windows. As designed. All functionality remains. The window menu was for KMdi in multi-window mode. We have removed this functionality. File menu now has New Tab and the rest, as explained above, is available from the context menu of the tab. |
