Clarification: I am not using a wireless card, the router provides wireless but my computer is actually wired to one of the ethernet ports in the router, so the dhcp failure is related to a standard network card, nothing to do with wireless protocols. Probably a NetworkManager 0.6 bug. 0.7 has a new DHCP layer. I assume this was in NM. |
