Konqueror makes a error message everytime when loading the page with Amazon.co.jp assosiate.

HOW TO REPRODUCE:
  1. start konqueror
  2. Open a webpage containts Amazon.co.jp associate (links below)

ERROR MESSAGE:
  Connection to host rcm-jp.amazon.co.jp is broken.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:
  Millions of webpages in Japan are using Amazon.co.jp associate(affiliate) and the message makes no sence when browsing these pages. So, I think Konqueror should not pop-up a error message (should do nothing), just like other browsers.

i cant reproduce with the first page, the other 2 seem to be closed. i use kde4.1 beta2, can you still confirm with this version? thanks for your report

I could confirm before, but only if Amazon ads were served which I'm not being able to reproduce now. So maybe there is a new bug with ads not being shown, or simply the popup error doesn't show anymore and the connection is still broken.

In firefox the ads show up fine. I'll confirm the bug because there is still something wrong with amazon.co.jp and konqueror (3.5.9 and 4.1) .

I got this problem with Kde 4.6.3 when trying to connect to rcm-jp.amazon.co.jp urls. Trying to open any amazon associate urls popus up a modal error dialog saying "Connection to host rcm-jp.amazon.co.jp is broken."

I tried to find the problem but had to give up. Moc mangling and all the slots and signals makes it difficult to trace the problem. I've attached a file with the debug output and a backtrace from the KHTMLPart::showError method but it doesn't help much.

I want this problem fixed so just tell me how to debug it and I'll do it.

Can't reproduce in KDE 4.8.90. Please recheck in 4.8.4 or later.
