Sentry Crash Report:

Description Oliver Grimm 2007-03-16 10:20:52 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Do
- start KControl
- choose "system administration" | "login setup" (KDM)
- enter root mode
- select tab "font"
- click one of those "choose font" buttons
- select font "DejaVu Sans"
- there are different subtypes available. The dialog defaults to the "light" type (the first one) whereas it should default to the "normal" type.

If you don't get to the problem at first sight choose another font, click "apply", get back to the dialog and choose the DejaVu font again.
Comment 1 Oliver Grimm 2007-12-24 00:56:33 UTC
still a bug in KDE 3.5.8
Comment 2 FiNeX 2008-11-12 11:06:59 UTC
This happens even in KDE4: the default font "subtype" is the first on the list.

@kdelib-devs: Is this a bug or a wontfix?
