Sentry Crash Report:

Description Keith Hutchison 2007-03-10 20:33:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux

Using KOrganizer 3.5.5 as part of the Suse 10.2 package. Linux(x86_64) release 2.6.18.2-34-default.
Using KPilot 4.6.0 (blivit) to sync with a Palm M515 through ttyS0. Note, I've also tried the following on an older machine with a Pentium III chip so it is not specific to the 64-bit architecture.

It is possible this is not a "new" bug in that a similar earlier report existed (Bug#89413). That bug was listed as Resolved. If so then the problem has crept back into the software.

Specifically, events entered into the Calendar do not show up on the Palm after syncing. Events entered on the Palm do show up on the Calendar. However, a subsequent sync will then delete those events from the Palm. They remain on the Calendar. I've not looked at it systematically but the To Do list does not seem to have the same problem.

This problem did not exist with the version of KOrganizer that came with the Suse 10.0 package (I don't have the KOrganizer or KPilot versions for that).

Hi Keith. This should be fixed in the latest (KDE 4.2) version of KPilot.

Thank you for the bug report!! Also, I'd really appreciate your help in testing out KPilot from the really-soon-to-be-released KDE 4.2!!! =:)
