Installed from:    Compiled sources

Hi
At least for me it would be very useful to be able to sort date and numeric columns immediately descending, as I usually want to see the newest or greatest first.

Now the first sort is ascending showing oldest / smalest values first. especially time consuming for sorting filelists on network connections.

some ideas
a) default sort starts with descending for date and numeric fields
b) use RMB or double click for descending sort.
c) split the header region
* click left side: ascending
* click right side: descending

Hi Stephan

As far as I understood I should not post on kde-core-devel, so I did post it
as a wish.
But as I am not a developer/coder - this will never be reach anyone.

then I misunderstood your fiddling with priorities. "This field is utilized by the programmers/engineers to prioritize their work to be done."
