when starting adept_manager on ubuntu feisty, it asks for the password of sudo, then shows adept window and then crashes, I think it crashes while reading state information.

Supposedly distribution mistake, the fix should be on its way into feisty. Closing here, if the problem does not disappear with next adept/libapt-front update round, please report this in launchpad.

Kubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon
same problem: adept_manager/updater/installer crashed on start
i've solved the problem on my system with typing in the terminal:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install 

now it works.
