I have Dante socks client installed and configured in KDE Control Centre.  Konqueror is able to use http and ftp requests over the proxy, but for https, sftp and fish connections, it seems that it ignores the proxy settings and tries to (unsuccessfully) connect directly.  (I can see the direct connection attempts when doing "netstat -ta").
