sounds terribly specific to me. maybe i should add pre-/post-hooks to execute arbitrary commands. as a workaround you may use the wrapper script for grub that makes it look like lilo - you could extend the wrapper to do the mounting and unmounting for you. taking it into another direction, i could try to avoid reading menu.lst directly and call the grub executable like i do for lilo, so you could set up a minimal wrapper around grub. KDM is unmaintained and not used in KDE Plasma 5. SDDM is the login manager used in KDE Plasma 5. If you still have this same issue with SDDM, please file an issue on the SDDM bugtracker (after doing a search for existing issues first!): https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/ |
