Definitely. Some more comments: 1. Right-clicking a network has the same effect as left-clicking - networkmanager tries to connect to it. I think it would be better if right-click either didn't do anything, or showed a context menu for that network (which would allow editing its settings - WEP password, etc.) 2. Networks should be sorted in some way - alphabetically, by signal strength, etc. Right now, they don't seem to be in any particular order. I think programs to take an idea from are knotes and kmix. Left click: main action, right click: options and stuff... That should be consequently added or changed in every KDE program. It is a huge step to a professional desktop environment. Hm. Does anyone read that? I like that idea... Also, is it possible to always display the popup menu *above* the icon (or below, etc. - basically, away from the mouse pointer) - the same way that klipper, items in the taskbar, and even Gaim do? Right now, clicking the knetworkmanager icon results in selecting "Quit" quite often - because knetworkmanager sometimes freezes for a few seconds and receives the "mouse released" event after I already moved the mouse by a few pixels.
