Version:           KOrganizer 3.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    Unlisted Binary Package
Compiler:          PCLinuxOS 0.93 rpm 
OS:                Linux

Setting up a set of schedules yesterday for starting Monday next week, I am getting alarm triggers today for events in 3 days time, Monday, which occurred on starting my PC.

The events have a daily recurrence from Monday to Friday and a reminder time on most events of 5 minutes before, some with an alarm.

Using KDE korganizer 3.5.5 from PCLinuxOS downloaded from http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/texstar/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2004/RPMS.texstar/kdepim-korganizer-3.5.5-2tex.i586.rpm , installed using synaptic.

A screenshot is available showing the timeline on KOrganizer application and 3 triggered events.
Any alarmed schedule is popping up 3 days early. It will be interesting if they pop up at the right time on the right day next week.

the report is for a very old and for an unmaintained version.  

if similar problems happen with modern KDE 4.11 or above, please report a bug accordingly.
