Does changing the email application in the control center (KDE Components->Default Applications) not work? I am using Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop. Is there another way of getting to this program without the menu? The shortest way to do it is to type "kcmshell defaultapplication" in a terminal. If that does not work, you might need to install KControl or possibly kdebase. Yep, that works very much. Thanks. I'll mark this as resolved and take a note. The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4. Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product. |
