Description Bruno Ribeiro 2007-02-09 23:28:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

As a download manager, kget should be able to download e-mails and rss feeds without the need to open kmail or akregator (or kontact for both). It should be integrated with those two applications (and any other wich apply, as news readers) to be able to download and inform the user of the availability of new e-mail/feeds/news/etc, so the user will only need to fire up the respective application when there is something new instead of the need to open kmail to see if there's new mail or akregator to check for new feeds. Kget is always there and can do that job automatically.
