Description Christian Weiske 2007-02-04 17:59:49 UTC
Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

On startup, digikam imports directories (if set so). The date set to the album is mostly incorrect - it'd be nice if date specified in the directory name would be detected and used.

E.g. my directory name is "2007-02-02 birthday party", digikam should detect that it's a date in there and set it as the album date automatically.

Also see bug #128817 for the date specification option for new albums, which perhaps could be used.

Yes, the issue still exists but after 9 years I don't have any hope that it will be fixed.
