Sentry Crash Report:

Description Johannes Wienke 2007-02-04 00:21:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I don't know if this is really a kopete issue. Some types of links are parsed correctly but when you click on them, firefox opens with a broken version of this link. For example:

http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/vor50/0,1518,463630,00.html generates

<a href="http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/vor50/0,1518,463630,00.html" title="http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/vor50/0,1518,463630,00.html">http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/vor50/0,1518,463630,00.html</a>

but firefox tries to open http://www.spiegel.de/spiegel/vor50/0,1518,463630

Firefox is set as the default for web-documents in the kde control panel. If tried to use konqueror and that worked.

I think this is a problem with kdelibs

Didn't notice this bug for a long time with newer kopete and kde versions. So closing this report.
