Version:           3.4.0 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 (4.0))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-3-k7

The "import existing project" window has a line in it which allows one to enter the directory of the existing project that one wants to import. However, if this directory contains a space the "OK" button remains greyed out.

Even if the optional directory choose is used the OK button remains greyed out.

This is not a bug, it's a feature.

If KDevelop allowed you to use a path with a space, you would probably get strange errors from gcc, make, autoconf or one of the other tools.

So this feature prevents you from getting strange errors.
It is a feature. :)

Actually its not a feature, at least I don't consider it a feature. Anyway this bug is a dupe.
