Description S. Burmeister 2007-02-01 20:09:53 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

IF I set the global identity to use a certain nickname and photo this should always be applied when logging in via jabber (and others).

Currently, if you use another client to edit the vcard, kopete does not apply its settings the next time it logs in.

E.g. I used Gaim (without kopete running) and chose a buddy-icon. the file was too big and Gaim send an empty vCard to the jabber-server, i.e. no photo, no nickname.

I closed Gaim and opened kopete. Kopete has a global nickname and photo set, yet if I open the vCard neither the nickname, nor the photo is in it.

If I change the nickname or photo in the global-identity the vCard is updated and contains the photo as well as the nickname.

Expected behaviour, update the vCard with kopete's settings every time one logs in.

I am not sure if this is valid fr other protocolls as well.
