Version:           0.12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc-4.1.1 
OS:                Linux

Bug appears in Settings->Configure->Identity window.
You should select 'Photo' tab, click 'Custom' than 'Open' and choose a file with long path.
For example something like:
/home/alexei/.kde/share/apps/kopete/globalidentitiespictures/9f7cfb74cd8c1835b3225eaac590d1e0.png

Than click 'Apply' and 'Ok'. Now open Settings->Configure window.

The bug is:
string in drop down control with photo file path and name become unresizable and the whole 'Configure' window become as large as photo string. 

Will be glad to get some fix on gentoo =)

Fixed on kde4 (kopete 0.50.80).
