Amarok has two command line options in regards to pausing; --pause and --play-pause.

I want to be able to pause the currently playing track all the time. When I use --pause it acts the same a --play-pause in that if NOT playing it will start playing.

I bind amarok --pause to a hot-key on my keyboard along with locking the screen. I want the music to always pause (but not STOP).

I can't reproduce this with SVN. "amarok --pause" works as excepted. So I assume it has been fixed.

Btw, you can also use "dcop amarok player pause".

I should have mentioned that I have tried

    'dcop amarok player pause'

And it has the same effect as --pause

I'll wait for the new version w/ Ubuntu.

I did search for a previous bug report -- but didn't see anything about this specifically.
