This would be an outstanding feature for all HDV users. It could be easily added to the selection list for the output video format (now: VCD, SVCD, DVD; wish +720i, 720p, 1080i, 1080p)

digiKam has a new Video Slideshow tool based on QtAV and ffmpeg which do not
have this problem.
