I'm not sure what exactly triggers this, but occasionally KNode will attempt to retrieve new articles, and it hangs.  While it seems that it can still retrieve new articles without problems, the failed attempts cannot be aborted, and so clutter the progress display.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
