Version:           kmail-E-MailClient (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
Compiler:          kmail 1.9.5 
OS:                Linux

Sending of emails results in : no connection with SMTP- server,email will be kept in Postausgang ( mail to be sent ).Receiving of emails is working fine. After having installed Suse 10.2 I did the same installationwork for kmail ( imap and smtp ) as I had it with the preceding Suse 10.0.,where receiving and sending of emails worked fine.All conditiions on the computer were left unchanged: Windows and Linux on the same computer,connection to the internet with Kinternet ,AVM- Router, provider AOL(imap.de.aol.com,smtp.de.aol.com) Windows Outlook Express,receiving and sending of emails on windows side o.k.

I don't believe this is a KMail bug, but something wrong in the configuration part. Please consult kdepim-users@kde.org to solve the problem.
