Description Adam Porter 2007-01-21 12:55:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Lately I've been having trouble with Jabber accounts disconnecting. After they disconnect, they remain disconnected. Then when I right-click on the tray icon and click "Set Status->Online", the disconnected Jabber protocols do not reconnect. I have to reconnect them individually.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I have 2 Jabber accounts, one of them disconnects from time to time (server's fault). If I then change my master status, the account that got disconnected isn't affected (it doesn't reconnect). I need to reconnect it manually. After that, changing the master status works fine - both accounts are affected by it.

Sorry, forgot to mention - KDE 3.5.6, Kopete 0.12.4.

The behavior you are seeing is actually by design. Marking as enhancement bug.

This issue is also affecting kopete in KDE 4.2.
