Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-5 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.19.2

Hello,

I'd like another choice to be added to the event notifications: a real dialog box with an OK button, like Gaim offers, not the passive notifications.

This is because the passive notifications can be easily missed, whereas the real dialog box can't be missed like that.

The best example would be:

kdialog --msgbox "$user has come online"

I'd like to add that I mean the buddy pounces, not the general notifications. There it's possible, but not for the buddy pounces.

Marking this bug as duplicate of the KDE SC 4.x equivalent.
