Version:           12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

I have samba installed and configured. I made sure correct settings were in global.

But both Online and Away are greyed out and cannot be chosen. 

I am using Kopete 12.3 on KDE 3.5.5

I can confirm that here too with kopete 0.50.80 from KDE 4.0.99. I did everything that the instructions in the winpopup account dialog say but both online and away are grayed out and receiving messages from a win2000 laptop in the lan doesn't work.

I fix some bug, when winpopup cant go online. Check version from trunk, if winpopup now works.
