Tested this with 1.2.5 and found out that images with absolute urls work - but not images with relative urls. according to this validator: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kdedevelopers.org%2Fblog%2Ffeed "line 123, column 0: description should not contain relative URL references:" relatvei urls are not valid. imho this should be fixed server-side. btw: planetkde.org-feeds do work - the img-urls are absolute there. Yes, using xml:base in RSS is debatable, especially in escaped HTML. I mark this as a duplicate of 117478, which requests xml:base support for Atom - which is slightly different though, as the Atom spec explicitely supports xml:base. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 117478 *** |
