Hello Dave, Can you try a couple of things to get more debugging information: 1. Start xterm and run Konsole from that. When a Konsole session hangs please post the most recent output shown in the xterm. 2. When a session hangs, start ksysguard and go to the process list. Tick the "tree" box underneath the list and scroll down to find the entry for Konsole. Underneath the Konsole branch there should be one process shown for each running session in the terminal. eg. If you have 3 tabs open there should be 3 bash processes listed under Konsole (or whatever program is being run in the terminal) Hi Robert, Thanks for having a look. I've started an xterm session and ran Konsole from that as you suggested. So far I haven't had a single session hang in four days! *rolls eyes* I'll give this a go for another couple days, then try starting Konsole from the desktop again and see if that makes any difference.
