more information is needed. Particularly and actually username so that this can be confirmed. This bug report will remain unconfirmed otherwise. The account, with which I noticed the problem, is not mine to post to public. I'm quite certain, however, that among KHTML-developers there are Picassa-users... Those of them with a gmail.com address are particularly likely candidates :-) the same here. konq 3.5.6 and still the same problem, for example with picasaweb.google.pl/ania.loki. Konq refuses to display individual pictures. Greets same here, works fine with Firefox 2.0.0.2 on the same system (Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy x86, KDE 3.5.6). Even tried changing the browser signature to Firefox 1.5.0.4 in Konqueror, which did not help. Here is a link to my test-album for your testing pleasure: http://picasaweb.google.de/gregor.rosenauer/AktuelleFotos Individual link: http://picasaweb.google.de/gregor.rosenauer/AktuelleFotos/photo#4941230020620058642 Same here (using Konqueror 3.5.6 on Debian Etch). I can see the album index fine http://picasaweb.google.com/enlamadalena/Baguena_SemanaSanta but I cannot see individual pictures such as http://picasaweb.google.com/enlamadalena/Baguena_SemanaSanta/photo#5051449429113544258 Iceweasel works. Ok, maybe this is not Konqueror's fault, but Picasa's. The source code of those pages contain: <script type="text/javascript">//<!-- var _c = (function() { var m, u = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase(); function ua(s) {return u.indexOf(s) >= 0;} if (ua('opera') || ua('netscape6')) return false; else if (m = u.match(/safari\/(\d+)/)) return (parseInt(m[1]) >= 312); else if (m = u.match(/msie (\d)\.(\d)/)) return (parseInt(m[1]) >= 6); else if (ua('gecko')) return true; return false;})(); //--></script> Apparently Konqueror doesn't exist for Google :-( I changed my User Agent description selecting «Tools -> Modify Identification -> Other -> Safari on MacOS X», and could see the photos without any problem. I guess we should pester Picasa's developers instead of Konqueror's... Same problem. I had to change the browser identification to Opera to get the pictures to display. As Safari, they would not display. *** Bug 148815 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I think with this commenter opinions and also my humble confirmation it could be time to mark this bug as NEW, don't you think? ;) konqueror 3.5.7 here. Thanks. Sorry I forgot to add in my quick latter comment that a possible workaround is use the Opera user agent so even Picasa warns about possible incompatibilities. Safari didn't work for me. In general any google non-compatible browser should work, but konqueror :S Yeah, -now- it's our bug. Works w/o faking in my work tree, except tons of other stuff is likely to blow up there... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 71809 *** |
