Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

I use CUPS. Let's say it
CUPS (Common UNIX Printing System)

According to the print-dialog it takes about 3-4 screens (yes) to display such a name. 
Examples: control center and printer module, Konqueror and print-dialog (advanced).
