Description Miles Sabin 2006-12-24 09:49:19 UTC
Version: 2.3.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

The Nozomi drivers for Option 3G datacards (http://www.pharscape.org/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/) create /dev/noz0 ... /dev/noz4 device node which aren't listed in devices.h and so can't be selected as a modem using kppp. Creating a /dev/modem symlink to /dev/noz0 is a workaround, but it would be preferable to have first class support.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kppp

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
