Description kavol 2006-12-22 22:17:22 UTC
Version: kcmmedia 0.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1-r1)
OS: Linux

Hello,

I am unable to turn off the "autorun" feature completly - this means that I do not want to set "Do nothing" as "Auto action" for every single possible type of media, I do not want to set it for all at once, I just want to turn off this feature completly.

If I do not understand exactly what was meant and the switch "Enable medium application autostart after mount" is the one that is supposed to do this, then it does not work for me.

The switches "Enable HAL backend" (checked) and "Enable CD polling" (unchecked) are gray and I cannot play with them, just to try.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
