Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Using Amarok 1.4.4 in Kubuntu 6.10 ("Edgy"). I currently want to sort my Amarok playlist by artist, followed by year an album was released, then album name. I can sort the whole list by year, or by album. But when i try to sort the whole playlist by artists, individual artists' tracks are sorted by album name first, not year. Example: I have the following three tracks (info is artist-year-album-title) Backstreet Boys - 1999 - Millenium - Larger than Life Backstreet Boys - 2001 - The Hits: Chapter One - Drowning Backstreet Boys - 2005 - Never Gone - Incomplete They are listed in the order I expect them to be ordered. When I order the playlist by album, then year, and then finally by artist I instead get this order: Backstreet Boys - 1999 - Millenium - Larger than Life Backstreet Boys - 2005 - Never Gone - Incomplete Backstreet Boys - 2001 - The Hits: Chapter One - Drowning There doesn't seem be any option in the playlist to choose a preference for sorting by fields (I know there's such an option in the Music Library, but I don't use it).
