I'm running Kopete with default plugins.  My first contact sent me an message on AIM from Adium, a client for OS X.  He said it was white on blue, instead I saw an extremely dim shade of blue on white.  Thus, I had to highlight to be able to read anything.  I know this could be a bug in Adium, but I'm not sure.

Also, when I sent him white on blue messages, he said they came out white on white (I don't know if they were actually dim blue on white, like I saw).

i can confirm the problem sending from kopete to adium. cannot confirm the problem sending from adium to kopete. Adium 1.0.4 and Kopete 0.12.5

Is the KDE 4 version (KDE 4.0.85 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080703) openSUSE packages ) of kopete already able to send and receive formatted messages?

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
