Note, also, that the error occurs whether or not the server list is opened on
startup.
First of, sorry for the much too long time to get back to you. These error dialogs actually aren't shown by Konversation - we don't use dialog boxes for error messages. However, Konversation uses the KAddressBook library for integration between KDE address book contacts and IRC users. That means that when starting Konversation, the KAddressBook resource framework comes alive, and if any error happens with a remote resource you set up in KAddressBook, the error gets shown by the KAddressBook library as a dialog box seemingly originating from Konversation. I.e. the root cause is that you have a problem with a remote resource set up in KAddressBook/Kontact. |
