Installed from: Compiled From Sources

In my switch from photoshop to Digikam 0.9.0 RC2 and Kipiplugins SVN, I am in the need of adding IPTC copyright information to hundreds of images at a time. I would think many people in the photography field are considering dropping adobe like myself, so the need to have this batch editing capability from within Digikam is sorely needed.

An addition for this to the Batch processing menu withing digikam would be great.

Hi Ari,

I suspect than you need to fill all informations already present in Credits page from current IPTC editor tool. Right ?

Hi Gilles, yes you are right, that's what I would need, and really the whole Credits page lends itself to batch editing.
Thanks!
Ari

Since digiKam 1.4, a new tool have been add to Batch Queue Manager to write template metadata in images. Just create a template in digiKam setup, and assign it to images in BQM... In template, all copyright information can be filled. Tool will patch Exif, Iptc and Xmp...
