I get periodic crashes of krfb for no apparent reason. just crashes with a signal 6 error (SIGABRT). It will continue to crash on and off until I disable desktop sharing. this happens on both SuSE 10.1 and SuSE 10.2 (dual boot). The backtrace below is on my 10.2 Final system.

Just FYI: At this time KRFB does not have a maintainer.
Comment 2 Bram Schoenmakers 2006-12-14 16:29:40 UTC
Do you use TightVNC as viewer? Then it may be a dupe of bug 130919. Else there's not much we can do with this amount of information (the backtrace doesn't really help either, unfortunately)

Hi!

I run into a similar error. However, mine is a bit different in trace, likely due to the point where it crashes. I connect from work to my linux box. I get the connection, but once I move the mouse pointer and click it crashes. Below is the trace. I run

Linux gusxeon4 2.6.18.2-34-bigsmp #1 SMP Mon Nov 27 11:46:27 UTC 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I use realvnc from work.

Comment 4 Dario Andres 2009-10-02 03:12:57 UTC
- Is this still happening with the KDE4 version ? It it is, it would be useful to have complete backtraces of the crashes.
Regards

I switched to Ubuntu in 2008 and haven't used KDE as my desktop for years so I would have no way of testing this any longer.
