Should it not be the way that if there is no new message in the list "+" should not display anything from that folder but jump to the next folder which has a new message as part of its list? If "+" is supposed to show the next new message, even if not part of the message-list, I would second the request to show that message in the message-list, i.e. clear the quicksearch. Yes, it should be that way. However, when a new message arrives in a different folder and + is pressed to jump to that folder, the search bar should be cleared. This is just like if you have something in the search bar and you click on a different folder, the search bar gets cleared. It would make the behaviour of the search bar and changing folders consistant. As they are they are inconsistent. I don't have a preference either way, just a preference for consistency. This bug is still present in 1.9.9 (enterprise 20080307.783247). Works in kmail/KDE4.3 |
