Version:           1.0beta1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
OS:                Linux

When I want to save a k3b project, it is saved without an extension.
When I added a .k3b extension and opened this project file, and made some changes and saved them, K3b again saved this project without extension, so that I had two project files, the old one with .k3b extension, and the modified one without extension.

I am using K3b 1.0beta1 compiled from sources on a SUSE 10.1 machine.

works here... is the "automatic file extension" checked in the save dialog?
