Using DCC send to exchange files means that you don't have only to open it, but often you have to move it in another location (i.e. I've received a patch, a song for my collection, a screenshot to put in the related folder, etc.).
The location of the received files, even if configurable, should be easy to open, especially for novice users.
Having a button with "open file location" that pops up konqueror open in the dowload dir would be fabulous.
