Hello!

This bug is really annoying so I am finally reporting it!

I hope other people have this as well!

I use kontact/korganizer lots for work! I use todos and events in calendar.
I drag and drop and create events in the korganizer to be organised and do my work well.
i then quit start my PC the next day and my last night changes were lost!!

My events/todos are in place it was a while ago and some new entries are not there!

This to me is critical error! Can I do something to check?

I am using "Local Directory" mode! Should I rather use local calendar? I can't find any lock files in my local directory.

I would say that this only effects local directory and doesn't effect local calendar file. I will watch it closely and see if it happens to my local calendar file as well.

Ok, I haven't been using korganizer as much anymore(unfortunately because using exchange), but I think perhaps this bug is fixed or not valid.
Would like to close this bug and when i use this more in future if its a problem ill file a new bug report
