Yes, good idea. It would also make tabs more consistant across various applications. I need to check whether this can be done already at the level of the KDE libraries. It would be better there as it would make this feature available to other KDE applications without additional code in each program. Have you checked if this can be done at the KDE level? This should get considered for KDE4. This feature request conflicts with http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119000 SVN commit 788960 by knight: Close tabs when clicked with middle mouse button. BUG: 137938 M +6 -0 ViewContainer.cpp M +1 -1 ViewContainer.h WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=788960 Excuse me for bothering you but as this seems to be implemented quite some time ago - how can I activate it in konsole of KDE 3.5.9? Do I have to add something to konsolerc (similar to konquerorrc mentioned above)? Hi Janet, The fix applies to KDE 4, this feature is unfortunately not available in KDE 3.5.9 that I know of. It does not work for me in 2.4.3 (KDE 4.4.3), Ubuntu Lucid. Has this regressed, or am I missing something? I've 2.3.3, looks like it has been added between 2.3.3 and 2.4.3. |
