Description Nadav Kavalerchik 2006-11-26 15:20:57 UTC
Version: 1.13 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-4 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-1-686

can you please add an option to the gui encoder dialog which controls the encoding quality (bit rate) of the ripped audio track.

kindly,
nadav :-)

I agree there should be an option to set the quality. There is a 'percent length' option but there is no documentation about it and I have no idea what it actually does. So some explanation about this option should be added. Furthermore you can set a quality option in the encoder command line but I do not know whether kaudiocreator would overwrite that.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kaudiocreator

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
